PLENARY: Special Performance by Sokeo Ros

GCIR is proud to present Sokeo Ros, a creator and performer who has toured extensively with Everett, where he is the director of the hip hop program, Case Closed! Ros’s family fled the Khmer Rouge to Thailand, where he was born in a refugee camp. They were resettled in the United States when he was three years old. In his performance piece From Refugee Camp to Project, Ros shares his personal refugee story, for which The New York Times called him “… a talented performer, an original storyteller and an uncommonly charming stage personality.”
