The Get Out The Count (GOTC) Field Working Group is excited to share with everyone the Get out the Count: Field Guidance 2.0.
The guidance was developed by APALA, State Voices and The Leadership Conference Education Fund in hopes that the updated guidance can support your census program understanding that 2020 looks different. We all know how the current public health crisis significantly altered the Census Bureau’s operational timeline requiring innovation in get out the count (GOTC) organizing and the national discourse about systemic racism has created a need to adjust messaging as well as how civic engagement work layers with census programs. This document is a live document and will be updated as more resources and tools are rolled out.
