This Learning Series is a monthly roundtable discussion centering invisibilized communities and often neglected topics within the migrant justice movement. All too often, issues of anti-blackness and racism, homophobia and transphobia, misogyny and ableism, and others cause misalignment in the immgirant justice movement and hinder our collective efforts to transform systems of harm and oppression. Our intention with this six month offering is to promote community-building through the powerful tools of political education and public dialogue.
Each webinar will take place on the 4th Thursday of the month at 10am PST/Noon CST/1pm EST. We hope you will join us for the entire journey! The schedule is below:

These sessions are open to all staff from non-profit organizations serving immigrants, refugees, and asylum seekers as well as philanthropic organizations.
Esta serie educativa es una discusión mensual a mesa redonda el cual se centra en comunidades invisibilizadas y asuntos que frecuentemente son desatendidos sobre el movimiento de justicia migratorio. Con demasiada frecuencia, asuntos sobre racismo y anti-negritud, homophobia y transphobia a la misma vez que la misoginia y discriminación con la spersonas con discapacidades, entre otros, crea un profundo desalineamiento dentro de nuestro movimiento y bloquea nuestros esfuerzos colectivos para transformar este sistema de opresion y prejuicios. Nuestra intensión con este ofrecimiento de 6 meses es el promover edificación comunitaria a traves de la poderosa herramienta de la educación política y diálogo público.
